It's been a while since I posted, had to do a lot of soul-searching and even stepped away from the game I love so much in order to get my mind straight. However light a moth drawn to an open flame I have decided once again to make a run at it. A final run if you will.
Playing poker as a hobby is great and all and it's a great way to make a few extra dollars now and again, however playing it as your only means of income adds a whole new dynamic that only certain people can do. It's not all glamour and games, it's not all scooping up huge pots with rolled up Aces vs Kings. It's a grind and it takes dedication.
I will be blogging my successes and failures daily after every session. The game in question is 1/3 No Limit Texas Holdem that I will only be playing live. The location is either Cascades Casino or Boulevard Casino or Starlight Casino. I will have a daily goal of 150 dollars profit. No time limit unless I'm super stuck and super tired.
I will take mention of notable hands and post them as well to see how you would play it as well as provide some insight on my play style and thoughts.
Happy reading and hopefully this time next year, I will have accomplished my goal and will move up in stakes!
